Glitter Gloss a clear, glitter-infused decorative finish designed to add shimmer and sparkle to interior surfaces.
Will Glitter Gloss change my base color?
Glitter Gloss dries clear and does not alter the color underneath, it only adds shimmer.
Is Glitter Gloss a paint?
Glitter Gloss is a decorative finish meant to enhance the look of painted or finished surfaces.
What type of surfaces can I use Glitter Gloss on?
Glitter Gloss is created for interior surfaces such as walls, doors, frames, wood furniture, canvases, and decor painting and more. Glitter Gloss is not meant for exterior surfaces or flooring.
Will Glitter Gloss protect my surface?
No fully. Glitter Gloss is decorative only and has slight protective effects but does not function as a protectant or sealant. If you would like to secure your surface, add a clear top coat meant for your surface to seal our finish.
Is it required to add a clear top coat over Glitter Gloss?
No. A clear top coat is not required over Glitter Gloss as it is only for decorative use. If additional protection is desired for high traffic areas or maybe has items on it, a clear top coat may be applied after Glitter Gloss has fully cured.
Will Glitter Gloss flake or peel over time?
When applied to a clean, fully cured surface, Glitter Gloss adheres well and maintains its finish. If concerned with durability, add a clear top coat over Glitter Gloss once fully cured.
Can you mix Glitter Gloss finishes together to create a custom mix?
Yes! Our finishes can be mixed together to create a custom sparkle blend.
Will mixing multiple Glitter Gloss finishes together affect performance?
No. Mixing our finishes together will not impact application or drying when mixed thoroughly before use.
Is Glitter Gloss scratch-resistant?
Not fully. Depending on the surface, it can be slightly scratch-resistant, but it is not recommended to rely on durability if that is a concern as Glitter gloss is decorative only. If durability is desired, use a clear top coat over Glitter Gloss once fully cured.
What type of tools are recommended to use with Glitter Gloss?
For best results, use a 3/8" or 1/4" nap roller. For small or detailed surface areas, a soft-bristle brush may be used and applied gently.
What type of lighting do you need to see Glitter Gloss in?
A vibrant shimmer effect is seen with bright natural or artificial lighting as a metallic, glow effect is seen with dimmer lighting.
Is Glitter Gloss easy to paint over?
Yes. Glitter Gloss dries smooth and does not leave texture or raised marks, making it easy to paint over when needed.
